Standard

1. Carpet inspection to assess fibre, condition and review spots / stains.
2. Carefully remove furniture (chairs, tables, lounge suites and beds on castors).
3. Apply suitable hot conditioning agent including deodorizer with consideration of spots. If stain removal is required this will be extra to our quoted price.
4. Steam extraction using powerful truck mount with excellent vacuum and lift for cleaner and drier carpets. Where access is not possible for a truckmount, MCS will use one of our powerful commercial portable machines which delivers an excellent result.
5. Deodorize carpet.
6. Groom carpet to remove cleaning marks, facilitates more rapid drying as the pile is left standing and maximizes appearance.
7. Replace furniture on protective plastic tabs / blocks to prevent staining of carpet (e.g. where base of furniture is timber or metal).

Extra services available

1. Pre-vacuum with Industrial grade upright with HEPA filter (improves cleaning of carpet) can be performed by MCS where client requests. Pre-vacuum is very important where MCS understands that some clients prefer to do this themselves.
2. Advance stain resistant treatment - scotchguard (refer benefits of this treatment below).

NB – Vehicle parking (for truck mount) required adjacent to the premises to be cleaned, access to a garden tap and furtherest point is within limits of our vacuum hoses on board (45 meters).

Stain resistant Treatment

Certain types of carpet are treated when manufactured to resist stains and soiling while some clients have this treatment when carpet is installed and some thereafter to further protect carpet and extend life. MCS can offer you the following protection of your carpet:-

Advance stain resistant treatment( common known as scotchguard) treatment decreases the ability of a liquid base stains to penetrate the carpet fibre. Benefits are resistance to oil, water, household food and beverages and adhesion of dry soils. For most commercial clients and residential customers this treatment is worth the additional investment. Treatment will last up to three steam cleans which extends the value of this protection

Benefits include carpet will look better, stay cleaner for longer, cleans better when you vacuum, last longer and prevents permanent stains.

Commercial customers

For commercial customers pre-inspection is critical to fully understand your needs, operational requirements in order to minimize workplace disruption, address any security issues and to present in return an inspection report / quotation meeting with your expectations.

MCS can remove water marks, carpet spots and professional clean / deodorise your entire carpet. Work is undertaken with due care necessary to promote a safe working environment for all parties involved. Carpet stain treatment is also available.

Steam cleaning using powerful truck-mount equipment is our preferred means for carpet cleaning however, portable cleaning equipment is available for those high rise buildings (parking provided and lifts access must be available in these circumstances).
