Crime scene cleanup

MCS has developed the required skills for the restoration of property which is normally subject to an investigation by the Forensic Department of the Police Service.

During this investigation the use of fingerprint powder (aluminium dust on dark or mirrored surfaces or carbon black for white surfaces), luminol (reveals the presence of blood) and other associated applications can be used. MCS selects the best process to remove such applications based upon the chemical and surface that requires cleaning.

Distressed property

We regularly see homes, apartments and units packed with garbage, rodent waste and gross filth. MCS can coordinate / organise to remove and discard belongings from the home and then begin decontaminating the property.

In such sites MCS requests clear instructions particular of those items which the client wants to retain.

Needle / drug paraphernalia removal

All too often there are reports that someone has come across a discarded needle. When needles are found they almost always have been used and contaminated with blood. Often there is a small amount of blood left inside, blood soaked bandages or cotton wool and viruses that are not visible to the human eye.

These needles / bandages may have viruses that cause hepatitis B and C, and HIV, plus many other diseases. Therefore, it is important that the needle be safely collected and disposed of correctly.

MCS offers the searching of facilities, collection and disposal of such items ensuring nobody gets hurt accidentally.
